Privacy Policy

Tyre Swing Pty Ltd (ABN 84 738 142 818, ACN 626 651 278), trading as Heeve ("we", "us", "our"), operates heeve.com.au. We respect your privacy and handle your personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.

This is an information and catalogue site. You cannot buy, create an account or make a payment here, so we do not collect payment or account details. Buying happens at our sellers (Ramp Champ, Bunnings or an authorised dealer), each with their own privacy policy.

What we collect

  • When you contact us. If you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, the enquiry type you choose, your phone number if you give it, and your message.
  • Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. This collects standard information such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit and how long you stay, usually through cookies. It helps us see what is useful and improve the site.
  • Spam protection. Our contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell real people from bots. It looks at signals from your browser to do this. It is a privacy-friendly alternative to a traditional CAPTCHA.
  • Server logs. Like most websites, our host records basic technical information about each visit for security and reliability.

How we use it

  • To answer your enquiry. Heeve enquiries are looked after by our sister store, Ramp Champ, so a reply may come from a Ramp Champ email address.
  • To keep the site secure and working, and to understand and improve how it is used.

We do not run email marketing. There is no newsletter and no marketing list on this site. We will only use your contact details to respond to the enquiry you sent us.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only where needed to run the site and answer your enquiry:

  • Ramp Champ (also owned by Tyre Swing), which handles Heeve enquiries.
  • Service providers who run parts of the site for us, currently Cloudflare (hosting and spam protection), Google (analytics) and Resend (delivering your contact-form message to us). They may only use your information to provide their service to us.
  • Where the law requires it, for example a valid request from a regulator or court.

Some of these providers store or process data outside Australia (including in the United States). Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to make sure your information is handled consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.

Cookies

We use analytics cookies as described above. You can set your browser to refuse cookies or warn you when one is sent, though some parts of the site may then not work as well. You can also opt out of Google Analytics using Google's opt-out browser add-on.

Keeping it safe and how long we keep it

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no website or internet transmission is ever completely secure. We keep enquiry details only as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and for our reasonable business and legal records, then dispose of them.

Access, correction and complaints

Under the Australian Privacy Principles you can ask for access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about you. To do that, or to make a privacy complaint, contact us through our contact form with enough detail for us to look into it. We aim to respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Children

This site is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us their information, please contact us and we will remove it.

Links to other sites

Our site links to other websites, including our sellers. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, so please review their policies when you visit them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time by posting the new version on this page. Please check back for any changes.
